The staff is amazingly efficient, the breakfast savoury, the ocation is unbeatable just off ferry terminal, the city centre, Queen Street and surrounding areas.

quite comfortable experience and reasonable value. wonderful location, very comfy beds, obliging staff. stylish, well-designed room with a luxurious bathroom. awesome breakfast, incredible service. the hotel was tidy and the good beach set near the property.

Staff was INFORMATIVE, decor was bright, beds were lovely. Lovely view of city. Slices of fresh bread, cheese and meats for breakfast, nice touch. Excellent interior, exceptional restaurant.

Good price-value balance and a perfect 10/10 experience. Perfect for short stay in really safe area. The room was very well decorated and the bed there was good. Remote location of this old city hotel was a bonus.

Worth its 4 stars. This hotel has great views and rooms. Don't forget to dine at The Burgerie, it's within 10 minutes walk or so, we really loved it.

We appreciated this place. Planned to see Auckland major attractions and it was decent base for visiting all of them. The airport is easy to get to, it's 25 km away.
The street was noisy and you'll have to deal with it.
